It’s all about JESUS!
It is not
About Us. It is really all about Jesus. I am just a Wordsmith scribing down instruction for your enlightenment.
At the end of the day and at the end of Life. We all find out that it is truly all about Jesus.
God created Mankind for Fellowship to enter into a Personal Loving Relationship that will last Eternally.
Christians are called to have fellowship with Jesus. (1 Corinthians 1:9) “God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (John 14:6-7) The raw fact is….Jesus is the “only” way to have fellowship with the Father! Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
The ministry of John the Baptist was to prepare the way for Jesus the Messiah. This is kinda like a spiritual dividing line between the Old Covenant of Law and the New Covenant of Grace. (Luke 16:16) Jesus said,“The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.
Jesus fulfilled the law so the New Covenant of Grace could be ushered in. (Matthew 5:17) Jesus said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
Through our ongoing and growing relationship with Jesus Christ, “We have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16) with the Holy Spirit living in us, (1 Corinthians 6:19). Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? This means we let Jesus live in us and through us. We surrender our self will and actively pursue His. We nurture this relationship with Jesus by reading and studying the Bible and speaking with Jesus through prayer.
Jesus speaks to us through the Bible (His Word) and by the power of the Holy Spirit. This allows for fellowship together, in the presence of our Heavenly Father, bringing praise, honor and glory to God the Father. These things strengthen our fellowship/relationship with Jesus allowing us to grow close to Him.
