I bought a tablet with a built in GPS. This got me to wondering, “How can I use this for God’s glory?” I found that I did not really need the tablet’s GPS, I just needed the tablet which happens to have a GPS.
God did, however, reveal to me why my interest was sparked in the GPS. I guess you could even say, “Ignited.”
For those who might need to know. GPS stands for Global Positioning System. This is a space-based satellite navigation system maintained by the government.
GPS works anywhere on or near the Earth where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. Modern receivers claim an accuracy within about 10 to 50 feet 95% of the time. Anyone with a GPS receiver can pinpoint their location and time regardless of the weather conditions.
GPS provides critical capabilities to our military, civil, commercial, public and private entities all over the world. The world has become dependent on the GPS System today. Without GPS the global navigational infrastructure would collapse.
Reality check; Humanity is more dependent on a set of electronic chips than Jesus. Really!
Jesus is the original GPS.
Jesus is giving words of comfort to the disciples after the Passover supper. Just shortly after dispatching Judas Iscariot and his satanic treason. (John 13:27) And predicting Peter’s Denial. (John 13:38) Jesus has told them that he must leave this world and prepare a place in His Father’s house (Heaven). (John 14:1-3)
Even after betrayal and denial Jesus is giving words of comfort. These are the words of the divine Spiritual GPS. Jesus is giving directions for eternal salvation. Jesus is the spiritual chip in God’s Plan of Salvation.
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.(John 14:5-6)
The world is lost, on a path with a slippery slope called ‘relativism.’
Satan’s Perversion
Satan has convinced the world that everything is relative, to the truths that a particular individual or culture happen to believe. Relativism means that no one system of truth is more valid than another one. And that there is no virtuous standard of absolute truth.
Satan has succeeded in establishing a moral/ethical majority adherent in the belief that all morals are relative to the social group within which they are constructed.
Travel the world. And see for yourself, that the globe is full of cultures and governments that prove different people ‘can and do,’ have different views about what’s moral and immoral. You can even see this truth on a scaled-down version by traveling to the other side of your own state, city, or neighborhood.
Satan has confused the beliefs of the chief administrators in many denominations. (2 Corinthians 4:4) These are the very same religions of a new one world religion. Religions of acceptance and tolerance, condoning lenient moral, ethical, cultural, and spiritual sins.
So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. (Revelation 17:3-4)
Satan’s relativism, naturally, denies that there is a God of absolute truth.
Old News
Sadly, this is old news. In the Old Testament book of Judges, Micah set up his own shrine and even appointed his son as a counterfeit priest. They had ‘in fact’ instituted their own idolatrous religion to suit themselves.
Now there was a man from the mountains of Ephraim, whose name was Micah. And he said to his mother, “The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, and on which you put a curse, even saying it in my ears—here is the silver with me; I took it.”
And his mother said, “May you be blessed by the Lord, my son!” So when he had returned the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, his mother said, “I had wholly dedicated the silver from my hand to the Lord for my son, to make a carved image and a molded image; now therefore, I will return it to you.” Thus he returned the silver to his mother. Then his mother took two hundred shekels of silver and gave them to the silversmith, and he made it into a carved image and a molded image; and they were in the house of Micah.
The man Micah had a shrine, and made an ephod and household idols; and he consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.(Judges 17:1-5)
Old news, even as recent as Einstein. Albert Einstein’s Theory of Relativity is based upon an observers position in time and space as relative concepts.
Einstein’s theory was hijacked by philosophers. Philosophers adapted a distorted philosophical view by deviating from physical science. Philosophers felt the theory of relativity lended credence to the relativity of all moral values
Wow! Did Satan ever take an ‘Opened Door’ opportunity to run amok? Or was this just a Freudian slip?
False and/or Corrupted Religions have steadily preached a feel good only ‘new age’ and ‘hip’ version of God’s Commandments. These are adaptations with interpretation relative to social understanding of ‘new age’ acceptance.
Oh.! What a bunch of Hogwash! Sin is Sin. Period.
The ‘old news’ Gospel is still the only truth today. Especially made for this new age of mankind through a spiritual GPS found in Jesus the Christ.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Nude Education
If you think that I may be stretching the truth; Just a little. Take another look in the educational mirror of reality.
We are teaching our children a GPS of Relativism in our Public Education System. We have taken the Pledge of Allegiance out of our schools because it contains the phrase One Nation under God.
In some schools students are let’s say, “Encouraged” not to wear Christian Religious apparel. Many schools, however, turn a blind eye when students wear other spiritual Middle Eastern orientated material. Such as the Islamic hijab or Hindu dupatta.
We then send our kids home from Godless schools to educate them some more on Godless Television Programming. This is a virtual battleground of Relativism, where violence, drugs, fowl language, nudity, and similar forms of depravity are socially acceptable.
Excuse me! The Bible’s GPS directs us to the truth. Relativism practices are STILL WRONG.
In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes. (Judges 21:25)
All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the spirits. (Proverbs 16:2)
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the Lord weighs the hearts. (Proverbs 21:2)
Re-calibration Needed
There is some serious re-calibration needed in the world today. The world’s moral compass has been pulled out of aligned. An unholy force, like a magnet, has shifted the whole consciousness of earthly morals and values into more pleasing substitute for all that is Holy.
World society has philosophically instituted Micah’s adaptations for ‘new age’ religions. This is Satan’s perversion. Satan’s way of saying everyone can individually be correct, within an acceptable moral majorities espoused beliefs.
Let us re-calibrate this depraved, immoral, and sinful way of thinking.
The instruction manual for Jesus’ GPS provides a way for refreshing and renewal. A way to be healed from all of the relativism that has knocked us out of alignment with God’s Word.
If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, (Acts 3:19)
